December 2025: exclusive interview in the "Acoustic Bubble" at Fnac Forum des Halles in Paris.
Episode #9, once again hosted by Marc Zisman, features virtuoso pianist Lang Lang sharing musical memories of the legendary Rubinstein and Horowitz, Chopin and Daniel Barenboim, but also Michael Jackson, Herbie Hancock and even... Metallica! It was intimate.
"This is incredible, I love it, I've never heard music like this before!" he told Marc Zisman at the end of the interview. The Acoustic Bubble experience truly impressed him.
Stepping into the Acoustic Bubble is like entering a dream studio. From the very first moments, perception shifts: external noise vanishes, music unfolds with startling clarity, and the listener—as with the artist here—rediscovers the very essence of sonic presence.
Combining technical innovation with audiophile passion, this initiative beautifully exemplifies the new frontier of high-fidelity listening.

Qobuz, a natural partner for this kind of experience, selected this unique venue to film "In the Bubble with…", a series of intimate conversations where each artist shares their story, performs, improvises and reveals themselves through the music they love.

The concept is simple: restore listening to the center, as an intimate dialogue between the audience and the artist. No over-lit sets, no flashy editing: just an acoustically neutral space, an exceptional high-fidelity system, and the promise of rediscovering sound.
These capsules offer a welcoming space with the exacting standards Qobuz holds dear: respect for the original signal, hi-res formats, timbral accuracy and emotion without compromise.

This Bubble, designed by architect Jean-Pierre Travers in collaboration with the acoustic design studio Redhouse, is more than just a setting.
It's a genuine critical listening tool, constructed like a mini-mastering suite: carefully studied geometry, absorbing materials and diffusers, and soundproofing with 30 dB attenuation from outside noise. The result? An impressively low noise floor and a stereo image of pinpoint precision.

For visitors, it's a sonic revelation: being able to compare standard listening with a hi-fi system in a neutral environment is transformative. The comparison between different systems becomes objective. Bass remains controlled, treble extends without harshness, and the soundstage takes on holographic proportions.
In Paris and Bordeaux alike, these bubbles have become must-visit destinations for sound enthusiasts, music lovers, audiophiles, and all Fnac customers who want to choose their sound system under optimal conditions before making a purchase. Visitors are welcome by private appointment or on a walk-in basis if the bubble is available.
